By the end of 2024, Darfon will have a global workforce of 6,575, including 930 employees in Taiwan and 5,645 in other regions: 4,954 in China and 691 in other regions. Of these, 3,148 are men and 3,427 are women, representing a gender ratio of 47.88% and 52.12%, respectively.

By 2024, the participation rate of women in performance units and STEM positions will continue to grow, with the proportion of women in performance units increasing to 65% and in STEM positions to 33%.

Employment principles

Based on operational and technological development needs, Darfon continues to expand diverse channels, deepen its fair recruitment process based on professional qualifications, and adhere to the principle of "right talent for the right job." We regularly review our systems to ensure the legitimacy and consistency of our employment policies. We actively promote a policy that does not discriminate based on non-job-related factors such as race, religion, skin color, nationality, and gender. Furthermore, we completely prohibit the use of child labor to ensure that our human resources policies comply with legal regulations and labor rights principles.

 

To manage employee departures, Darfon has established an exit interview and questionnaire system. Direct supervisors or human resources personnel conduct face-to-face interviews and, depending on the circumstances, assess whether to initiate follow-up retention discussions. We also collect feedback and suggestions on management systems, organizational culture, and compensation and benefits, which serve as a basis for internal review and optimization of the work environment, thereby maintaining a positive relationship with departing employees.
