In 2025, renewable energy accounted for 18.60% of Darfon’s total annual energy consumption, indicating that the Company continued to increase its use of renewable electricity.
In terms of the energy mix, purchased non-renewable electricity remained the primary energy source, accounting for more than 90% of total energy consumption. Huai’an, Tainan, and Unictron were the principal electricity-consuming sites. Natural gas and diesel consumption declined slightly as certain sites in China gradually transitioned away from or reduced their use of these fuels. In addition, liquefied petroleum gas consumption by the restaurant at the Taoyuan site decreased significantly to 226.07 GJ. Overall, although total energy consumption declined slightly, Darfon continued to strengthen energy management efficiency through the introduction of renewable energy and the implementation of energy conservation measures, laying the foundation for achieving its low-carbon operating targets.
