Darfon established its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee in 2016 and officially renamed it the Sustainability Development Committee in 2021. The Committee is chaired by the Chairman, with the President serving as Vice Chair. It comprises six functional teams, each led by a senior executive from a respective business or corporate function, and is supported by a Secretariat responsible for coordinating and promoting sustainability initiatives across the Group.
In 2022, Darfon adopted its Sustainable Development Best Practice Principles. To strengthen governance effectiveness and transparency, the Sustainability Development Committee reports material sustainability issues, implementation progress, and performance to the Board of Directors annually. The latest report was presented to the Board in May 2026.
In 2025, key matters reported to the Board included sustainability awards and recognitions, Sustainability Report disclosures, climate scenario analysis results, greenhouse gas reduction strategies, social engagement initiatives, and employee well-being programs.
