Darfon's August revenue increased 15% year-on-year, reflecting improving green energy market conditions
Darfon (8163) reported consolidated revenue of NT$2.086 billion in August 2025, a decrease of 4.18% from the previous month and an increase of 14.99% from the same period last year. Cumulative consolidated revenue for the period from January to August 2025 reached NT$16.65 billion, a 19.83% increase from the same period last year. Looking ahead, we expect green energy (bicycle-related) sales momentum to show signs of improvement, with the overall industry expected to bottom out and recover by the end of this year or the first half of next year, and the overall green energy market trending positively.
In the green energy sector, a significant decline in supply chain inventory has been observed, signaling a positive sign of industry stabilization. However, the overall situation is still under the framework of inventory reduction and promotions, so a strong recovery has not yet been seen. However, the overall situation is improving, and we expect the industry to bottom out and recover by the end of this year or the first half of next year.
Many of Darfon's green energy clients, which had previously suspended project launches, have already initiated projects for new models for 2026 and 2027, indicating a rebound in industry demand.
