What is renewable energy?
In order to reduce the impact of energy use on warming, Darfon has formulated a plan related to greenhouse gas
reduction. In the plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, in addition to the energy-saving measures that have
been completed in the past, Darfon will apply to SBTi for review in 2023 and continue to implement carbon emissions
reduction measures. To manage and set active carbon reduction targets, we know that committing to SBT reduction

situation of intensified global warming. The application is submitted under the scenario of maintaining global
warming at 1.5°C, and promises to gradually achieve the absolute reduction target of 48.4% for Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse
gas emissions in 2031 based on 2021, and the absolute reduction target of 48.4% for Scope 3 (C3-1&3-11) greenhouses. The absolute reduction target of gas emissions reaches 27.5%.
