Darfon's IT outlook will heat up in the second half of the year, and Green Energy will conservatively optimize its product portfolio
Dafon (8163) currently has a relatively certain visibility in IT (keyboard-based) products. In the second half of the year, both keyboard and non-keyboard products will heat up compared to the first half. Green Energy, which is mainly in the bicycle business, is conservative and will focus on optimizing its product portfolio. The company strives to achieve better overall operations in the second half of the year than in the first half. In terms of IT, it is expected that NB/PC will contribute to a steady increase in shipments of keyboards and other new products due to the upgrade of the Windows operating system and the increased penetration of AI PCs.
In terms of non-keyboards, the company has entered product lines such as touch panels and fingerprint recognition modules, and its contribution is expected to gradually increase from the second half to next year. In terms of green energy, inventory depletion continues and is expected to continue until the middle of next year, so the momentum is relatively conservative. However, the company continues to optimize its green energy product portfolio, such as increasing sales of battery modules, frames, etc., to optimize gross profit margin performance.
